The estimated construction cost is $2,220,000.00 to $2,500,000.00. The project must be completed in one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, bidder's license number, address, and the name of the project. Bids must include bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid price but not more than $10,000.00. The bid must be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days after submission. Bidders must comply with State Law Governing General Contractors and must carry the Specialty Construction-Environmental classification as listed in the latest edition of the Roster of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. The Owner will not consider any bid unless the bidder produces evidence of being properly licensed. Foreign corporations must be qualified under State Law to do business in Alabama. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified and will be notified of the results; bid packages will be made available to approved bidders only.
