Site work for a development in Coker, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

The principal items of work include 161,000 CY of unclassified excavation, 2,110 CY of structural fill, 19,600 CY of clay liner, and 263,540 SF of HDPE liner. The estimated construction cost is $2,220,000.00 to $2,500,000.00. The project must be completed in one hundred twenty (120) calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, bidder's license number, address, and the name of the project. Bids must include bid security in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the bid price but not more than $10,000.00. The bid must be irrevocable for a period of sixty (60) days after submission. Bidders must comply with State Law Governing General Contractors and must carry the Specialty Construction-Environmental classification as listed in the latest edition of the Roster of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama. The Owner will not consider any bid unless the bidder produces evidence of being properly licensed. Foreign corporations must be qualified under State Law to do business in Alabama. Nonresident contractors must comply with Alabama law regarding preference for resident contractors and submit a written legal opinion regarding preferences in their state of domicile. Bidders and subcontractors must submit an Affidavit of Immigration Compliance and E-Verify Program Memorandum of Understanding at the time of the bid. Contractors must provide two Owner's Protective Liability Policies naming Black Warrior Solid Waste Disposal Authority and Three Notch Group, Inc. as insureds. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and only bids from those attending the mandatory pre-bid conference will be accepted. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified and will be notified of the results; bid packages will be made available to approved bidders only. Bidding documents may be obtained from Three Notch Group, Inc. for a non-refundable fee or electronically at no charge. Faxed pre-qualification submissions will not be accepted. Incomplete pre-qualification submissions may result in elimination from consideration. Pre-qualification does not guarantee bid acceptance as competitive, responsible, or satisfactory. All pre-qualification submissions are confidential. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with the Code of Alabama provisions cited regarding contractor licensing and public contract preferences for resident contractors. Pre-qualification requirements: Applicants must submit a fully completed Contractor's Affidavit of Qualifications (with all required attachments) and a fully completed Financial Supplement to Contractor's Affidavit of Qualifications, including Contractor's Liquidity Analysis, by the specified date. Applications may be obtained at designated offices. Only pre-qualified bidders will be allowed to submit bids. The submission of pre-qualification documents by fax is not accepted. All bidders must be properly licensed under Alabama law for general contractors and hold the Specialty Construction-Environmental classification. Bidders must provide evidence of such licensing. Foreign corporations must also be qualified to do business in Alabama. Nonresident contractors must include a written opinion from an attorney licensed in their state regarding preference laws. All bidders and subcontractors must provide Immigration Compliance affidavits and E-Verify documentation at the time of bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
