Complete reports, assessments, prescriptions, as-built surveys, recommendations, inspections, and analysis. The Geotechnical Professional must meet the requirements in the attachment: Technical Competencies – P04 – Terrain Stability Assessment. Landslide/debris flow investigation, including analysis and mitigation design. Identifying factors contributing to its occurrence and risk to downslope resources. The Geotechnical Professional must meet the requirements in the attachment: Technical Competencies – P05 – Flood Hydrology & Open Channel Hydraulics Design. Road Deactivation Plans will include inspections, prescriptions, cost estimates, and analysis of fill slopes, cut slopes, and stream crossings. Including the identification and classification of slope stability and soil erosion hazards, as well as identifying the risk to the forest resources and other values. Plans are to be consistent with the FLNRORD’s Engineering Manual and the Ministry of Forests Best Management Practices Handbook: Hillslope Restoration in British Columbia (2001). The Geotechnical Professional must meet the requirements in the attachment: Technical Competencies - P16 - Road Deactivation Prescriptions. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Requests for proposals for design services is underway.
