Remodeling of a military facility in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,345-square-foot, two-story above grade, two-bed military facility.

The work consists of all labor, equipment, tools, materials, travel, licenses, and general construction services for the 3,345 square foot second floor of the 6,690 square foot Transient Training Enlisted Barracks Building at the Greenlief Training Site in Hastings, Nebraska. It includes remodeling and reconfiguring to create two open-bay enlisted barracks spaces with centralized latrines and common support spaces, consistent with the requirements for this building category. The contractor is to install two latrines on the second floor to match existing latrines on the first floor. Finish bay areas to match the first floor including new walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures, along with all associated HVAC, electrical, and plumbing modifications required to support the design. Bid documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply Co., Inc. via paid digital download or printed copy, with associated non-refundable fees. Only complete sets of bid documents will be issued. Any shipping of bid documents will incur an additional non-refundable fee. An OBE Non-Cash Builder's Card will not be accepted in lieu of purchasing a set. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Base Bid: a. Renovate existing building to include (2) two new latrines at second level to match main level. b. Selective demolition of existing conditions. 1. Remove existing masonry walls and doors. 2. Remove existing flooring for new showers and plumbing work. 3. Remove existing finishes for above ceiling work. c. Install new 6" masonry walls with hollow metal doors and door frames. d. Install new framing and drywall for ceiling finishes. e. Install new plumbing fixtures and piping. 1. Connect to existing rough-ins. f. Install new ductwork and connect to existing duct. g. Install new power and lighting. 2. Alternates: a. None.
