The City owns and operates a portfolio of over 240 buildings of various age, size, function, and type. To keep this portfolio in a state of good repair, the Facilities & Property Management Division implements an annual capital program of life cycle renewal and improvement projects. Qualified firms are sought for placement on a roster list to undertake building condition assessment services and Capital Planning Software (VFA) updates on an 'as and when required' basis. The City will maintain control over the capital program and project assignments, and will define specific terms and conditions for each assignment. Successful roster firms must observe and comply with City policies, procedures, and regulations, and city personnel will have authority on each project assignment. Additional details are provided in Appendix C - SOW. Bidders are to be selected based on evaluation criteria detailed in the RFP, and successful bidders will be required to enter into the Agreement in Appendix B. Pricing will not be evaluated as part of the RFP; instead, informal quotes will be sought and awards made to the lowest acceptable bid for each assignment. Submission is online only.
