Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wenatchee, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of May 11, 2026 project was awarded to Central Washington Asphalt Inc., but awarded amount is not available. The project involves pavement milling and overlay or slurry sealing and curb ramp improvements on multiple streets in the City of Wenatchee. The major items of work include: saw cutting; crushed surfacing placement and compaction; constructing new cement concrete curb ramps; roadway planing; hot mix asphalt paving; slurry sealing; channelization; lowering and raising valves, manholes, monuments, and other steel utility covers; and traffic control. All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract plans, special provisions, and the 2026 WSDOT Standard Specifications. The project requires Apprenticeship Utilization and includes three schedules of work. Time for completion of the work is limited to 60 working days. The Contractor shall be required to begin construction no later than June 1, 2026. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashiers check, postal money order, or surety bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal, made payable to The City of Wenatchee. If the successful bidder fails to enter into contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bond within the specified time, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. The City of Wenatchee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the bid or in the bidding. All services provided must be completed in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board, and other applicable regulations. No bidder may withdraw their proposal after bid opening or before award of contract unless the award is delayed beyond forty-five (45) days. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Engineer's estimated range of probable cost is $1.8M - $2.2M. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
