Renovation of an educational facility in Winnetka, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed lump sum individual bids will be received for the removal of non-friable floor tile, mastic, and grinding of the sub-floor at Washburne, Hubbard Woods, and Greeley Schools during summer, 2026. The project involves removal of carpeting, removal of non-friable floor tile/mastic in a non-friable manner, and floor grinding of the clean substrate as listed in the bid documents. Prospective bidders must have previous work experience on projects of similar size and meet the criteria established within the bidding documents. Refer to drawings and project manual for full extent of the work. All interested bidders are required to complete an AIA Document A305 Contractor’s Qualification Statement and submit it with all bidding documents at the time of bid. Construction bonds required: Upon award of contract, a performance bond and material & labor payment bond will be required from the contractor for 100% of the contract sum, payable to the owner. The project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Contractors shall guarantee their submitted Bid Proposal for a sixty (60) day period from the date of bid opening. Bid documents will be available at the mandatory walk through or through the district's consultant prior to the walk through. Refer to the Form of Bid for all required bid documentation.
