Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM BRYSON & YATES CONSULTING ENGINEERS, LLC DIRECTLY. The proposed work includes approximately 1,700 linear feet of 12-inch CLDIP water main installation and approximately 25 units of 1-inch water service, complete. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, made payable to the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority (MMUA). All blank spaces in the proposal must be filled in, and no changes to the phraseology or items mentioned are allowed. All required information must be included with the proposal. Physical changes on the bid form must be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder must furnish, within ten days of award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to 100% of the contract price. All required surety bonds or LOCs must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List and authorized in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, P.L. 1977, c. 33 (Disclosure Statement), P.L. 1999 c. 238 (Public Works Contractor Registration), and P.L. 2004 c. 57 (Business Registration Certificate). Bids must be prepared on standard forms and enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled with the project name and addressed to the MMUA. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, or to accept the bid that best serves its interest.
