This project involves the construction of approximately 2,000 linear feet of new access roadway, including roadside swales and a new stormwater management facility for the Gateway Park located along Bronson Hill Road (CR 62) in the Town of Livonia, New York. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price and lump sum basis as indicated in the bid form. Instructions to bidders include: Information and bidding documents can be obtained from the designated website upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Only bidders who have obtained bidding documents from the designated website are eligible to submit a bid. Printed copies are available for a deposit fee, with conditions for refund upon return of documents in good condition. Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted by the Engineer until a specified deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond of not less than 5% of the bid amount. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the instructions. Bids must comply with requirements for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) participation, with a goal of 30% M/WBE involvement, and provide documentation of "good faith efforts" if unable to meet the goal. The successful bidder must comply with equal employment opportunity provisions, execute a non-collusive bidding certificate, and furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract.
