Reference Number 0000417022 Source ID PU.AG.USA.3051319.C22705926 Piggyback Contract No The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, security, permits, and safety measures needed to design a replacement chiller system for the Durham County Administration II Building, where the two existing 175-ton Dunham Bush chillers have had ongoing issues since 2019. The work includes conducting a full capacity analysis, surveying conditions with trend data and staff interviews, and field-verifying all existing piping and ancillary systems. The contractor must prepare complete design documents for permitting and construction, provide a 75% design review set, deliver the final construction set, and participate in up to six virtual design meetings and two construction-administration meetings. Additional responsibilities include bid support, answering questions, evaluating bids, reviewing submittals and RFIs, performing four site visits during installation, and producing final record drawings.
