Site work for a water / sewer project in Vinton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of construction of approximately 420 linear feet of 18-inch stormwater pipe, 4 curb inlets, 3 manhole structures, connection to the existing stormwater system, and associated pavement and sidewalk restoration. The work is located on South Pollard Street and Cedar Avenue in Vinton, Virginia. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders, and bidders must be licensed as a contractor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. All questions and technical inquiries must be submitted in writing to the owner's primary contact. The contract shall be awarded, if at all, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to cancel the procurement or reject any and all bids if it appears in its best interest to do so, and also reserves the right to waive informalities in bids. Disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids. All official notifications, addenda, and bidding documents will be offered only through the designated website. All questions and technical inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Owner's primary contact, Kenny Sledd (email: KSLEDD@vintonva.gov). Questions regarding the Bidding Documents must be received by Thursday, April 2, 2026.
