The project consists of the demolition of the existing home bleachers and the installation of new bleachers and a pressbox, including all associated site work, electrical, low-voltage, plumbing, and other associated work. Bidders are required to possess a State of California B General Contractor license and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. All bids must be on the form provided, and each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder is required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All workers must be paid not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the State of California. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only.
