Site work and paving for a road / highway in Halsey, Nebraska. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received for Single Armor Coat Surfacing. Each bidder must submit pricing for Item No. 1 (Base Bid) and Item No. 1A (Bid Alternate). The estimated quantities for both items are 30,400 square yards. For the Bid Alternate, Thomas County will furnish the armor coating aggregate; the Contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, hauling from the County stockpile, placement, rolling, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Unit prices must be included for each line item in both Base Bid and Bid Alternate. The Bid Alternate is quoted on a square yard basis and may be accepted or rejected at the discretion of the Board. The Owner reserves the right to award the contract based on either the Base Bid or the Bid Alternate. Bidders must obtain a complete set of bidding documents and ensure they have received all addenda. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the Total Base Bid Amount, payable to the County Treasurer. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. West North Loup Road: approximately $50,000 Purdum Avenue: approximately $150,000.
