The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking proposals for Sewer System and maintenance construction rehabilitation projects. The work generally includes furnishing and installing Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) sewer lining, service renewals through trenchless lining or service line replacement, installation of new clean-outs, manhole rehabilitation, and associated work in the Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program (CWNOAP) and Metro Water Services (MWS) sanitary sewer systems. Projects focus on sewer system improvements to abate overflows in accordance with a federal Consent Decree, with work based on planning reports developed for Metro Water Services. These include sewer lining, manhole rehabilitations, lateral excavation and replacement, lateral renewals through trenchless lining, new cleanout installation, and associated sewer system maintenance improvements. Typical scopes involve 20,000 to 40,000 linear feet of small-diameter cured-in-place pipe lining, service replacements, trenchless service renewals, cleanouts, CCTV, manhole rehabilitation, internal/external point repairs, preparatory sewer cleaning, diversion pumping, restoration, and all appurtenances. Projects will be delivered under indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts, generally not exceeding $7,500,000 each with anticipated construction durations of less than two years. The contracts are for an initial term of three years with a possible two-year renewal. Work areas vary from commercial, residential, industrial, to farmland and require permits as appropriate for construction. Contractors must comply with all relevant licensing and insurance requirements, fulfill participation goals for minority and women-owned business enterprises, and submit required forms and documentation as specified. Offerors are instructed to provide detailed company information, demonstrate experience on similar projects, indicate project team organization, and submit responses in the prescribed format, including all required attachments and acknowledgments of solicitation terms and goals.
