The Trinity River Authority of Texas is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals for the construction of a new General Office Complex in Arlington, Texas. The project includes the construction of a new approximately 54,800 square foot general office building and an approximately 13,100 square foot field office building, along with all associated site development and supporting infrastructure. Work consists of constructing two new buildings (including structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems), mass timber structural system procurement, coordination, and erection, underfloor air distribution system coordination with structural and electrical systems, site development (including grading, drainage, utilities, paving, and landscaping), utility service connections and coordination with local providers, and quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and system turnover. High-level coordination among trades is required, particularly for the integration of mass timber and UFAD systems, as well as sequencing of long-lead materials and early procurement activities. The contractor will be selected using a Competitive Sealed Proposal process in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2269, with award based on best value considering qualifications, project approach, schedule, and price. the deadline for questions is April 20.
