Renovation of a municipal facility in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Bids are being solicited for the Renovation of 316 Main Street Project - Phase 2 for the City of Pine Bluff. Contract documents can be examined at Nelson Architectural Group, Inc. Electronic contract documents may be obtained from the Office of the Architect. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government Bond, or satisfactory Bid Bond for 5% of the total bid. Minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and the contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Bidders must comply with "Bid Condition and Affirmative Action Requirements" and submit US HUD-4238-CO-1 (Certification of Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity) with their bid. Similar certifications are required from subcontractors. Compliance with Section 3 of 24 CFR 135.20(b) is also required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Foreign contracting companies and foreign-owned companies not approved by USTR are not allowed to bid. Bids may be held for up to thirty days for review and qualification investigation. Minority and female-owned and operated businesses and local firms are encouraged to participate.
