Sealed bids are requested for a General Contract involving marking removal, crack repair, a 2-inch overlay, and new markings on Runway 18-36 at DeWitt Municipal Airport - Whitcomb Field. Bids are to be submitted on a unit price basis. The project award is contingent upon receiving funds from the Federal Aviation Administration. Prime bidders are responsible for downloading bid documents and addenda from the online plan room to be included in the Plan Holders List and must verify receipt of addenda in their proposal. All required information must be provided on the bid or proposal form. The successful bidder must submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities prior to contract award and notify subcontractors of this requirement for subcontracts exceeding $10,000. For contracts of $50,000 or more, contractors and subcontractors with 50 or more employees must maintain an affirmative action program within 120 days of contract commencement. A 5% Bid Security is required with the bid. Bidders must possess a current general license from the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. Federal Davis-Bacon wage requirements will apply.
