Renovation of an educational facility in Port Byron, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work consists of general construction for the Port Byron Central School, 2025-2026 COPE Project at the Main Building, 30 Maple Avenue, Port Byron, NY 13140. Bidders are instructed to obtain bidding documents from Rotolite Elliott upon deposit and payment for handling/postage or view electronic plans for a non-refundable fee. Bidding documents are also accessible at specified locations. Bidders must comply with requirements for sales tax exemption, employment conditions, minimum wage rates, qualification submissions, bonding and insurance requirements, and provide financial and reference documentation, including descriptions of projects of similar size and scope. Bids must be prepared as outlined in the "Instructions to Bidders," sealed, and accompanied by bid security of at least five percent of the base bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and to disqualify bidders for material failure to comply with the Instructions to Bidders. Last day for contractor questions - Tuesday, March 31, 2026 The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Renovation/Reconstruction of Science Rooms and Art Rooms. 2. Renovations of Classrooms into Steam Rooms. 3. Creation of Outdoor classrooms. 4. Creation of Greenhouse 5. General renovations. 6. Replacement of Auditorium Seating and Stage curtains. 7. Asphalt replacement at Bus Garage.
