A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Sealed bids are requested for the "Airfield Lighting System Improvements" project # EC25-00-018 in Carrington, North Dakota. Bids must be submitted on the basis of a cash payment for the work. Each bid should be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Airport Authority and designated that the bid is for "Airfield Lighting System Improvements". A Bidder's Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the full bid must accompany each bid in a separate envelope, executed by the Bidder and a Surety Company authorized to do business in North Dakota. If awarded, the principal must execute a contract in accordance with the bid and OWNER requirements within ten days after the Notice of Award. AIP No. 3-38-0076-019-2026 AIG No. 3-38-0076-020-2026 The project will consist of: Lighting System Upgrades: - Replace all existing Medium Intensity Runway Lights (MIRL) and cans. - Replace all existing Runway End Threshold Lights and cans. - Replace all existing Medium Intensity Taxiway Lights (MITL) and cans. - Install new electrical wiring in conduit. - Replace radio control unit and associated antenna. - Replace existing contactors, photocell and timer. - New control cabinet to include all associated control items. Beacon: - Replace and relocate the current rotating beacon on a tilt down style pole. - Replace photo eye. Vault: - Replace electrical controls in existing lighting control building (vault). - Replace regulator to support the new LED lighting system. Signage and Navigational Aids: - Replace all Airport Guidance Signs to meet current FAA standards. - Replace PAPIs on Runway 13/31 to meet higher TCH per FAA guidance. - Replace the primary wind cone on tilt down style pole.
