Renovation of a municipal facility in Orange Beach, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Burn Tower And Installation At Fire Training Facility - Work will include all materials and labor for the delivery and installation of the burn tower at the Orange Beach Fire Department Qualified contractors are invited to bid. The Orange Beach Fire Department is located at 25855 John Snook Drive, Orange Beach, AL 36561. Bids in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Orange Beach in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount, but in no event more than $10,000. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds will be required from the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to obtain a business license from the City to operate within the Corporate Limits. The City of Orange Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in the bids received, and to accept or reject any items of the bid for the benefit of the public. No conditional bids will be accepted. Container Structure -Ten (10) new/one trip forty-foot (40') high cube wind/watertight shipping containers -Five (5) new/one trip twenty-foot (20') high cube wind/watertight shipping containers -Transportation of all containers to the final site (Orange Beach Fire Training Facility) Performance Bond: If the winning bid is in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), the Contractor shall obtain a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount and shall provide such bond within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. Labor & Materials Bond: If the winning bid is in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), the Contractor shall obtain a Labor & Materials Payment Bond equal to but not less than 50% of the contract amount and shall provide such bond within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. The bond shall include payment of reasonable attorney's fees incurred by successful claimants in civil actions.
