Completed plans call for the addition of a 173,098-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. 20,000 SF Pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) classroom addition, 2. 35,000 SF PEMB competition basketball arena with seating for about 2000 people 3. 20,000 SF PEMB athletic/CTE field house, interior renovations/reconfigurations to the existing band hall, cafeteria, admin suite, locker rooms, SPED/family consumer science, and standalone weight room 4. Renovations of the existing high school to accommodate connection to the additions. B. Type of Contract: 1. Single Prime: Project will be constructed under a single prime (lump sum) contract. 2. Project is tax exempt. The Contract will be executed with separate contract sums for materials and services to comply with requirements of 1991 Texas House Bill 3. Kemp ISD - New Junior High School & High School Additions & Renovations The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any individual proposal or any combination of proposals, whichever shall be in the Owner's best interest.
