Renovation of an educational facility in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,944-square-foot educational facility.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash, cashier's check, or certified check drawn on a bank insured by the FDIC or Savings Association Insurance Fund, in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid, or a bid bond. The successful bidder must submit a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount, guaranteeing faithful performance and payment to all persons supplying labor and/or materials. There is a goal of 10% Small Disadvantaged Business participation, and all requirements of the NC General Statutes 143-128 Minority Business Enterprise Program must be adhered to. Fayetteville Technical Community College reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Questions regarding plans, specifications, Contract Documents, or bidding requirements will be answered by the Architect by contacting Gordon Johnson, AIA, LEED AP at 910 223-2186 or e-mail at gordon@gordonjohnsonarchitecture.com. Renovation and upfit for approximately 2,944 square feet of space within the current Surgical Lab area. The renovation includes the existing surgical lab and the adjacent classroom, creating an open lab area and updated lighting in the adjacent classroom. Work will be completed as specified in the construction documents developed by Gordon Johnson Architecture, PLLC. Questions regarding this bid shall be submitted in writing, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2026
