The project consists of removing and replacing the existing roofs, water-damaged Structurally Insulated Panels (SIP), and selected structural members in the roof and wall assemblies of an existing residential duplex. Work includes providing all materials and labor required to complete the repairs in a professional, workmanlike manner in accordance with the attached specifications, manufacturer installation instructions, and drawings. The Powell Duplex is a two-story, two-unit, three-bedroom family housing residence used for staff at the Powell Ranger Station. Although constructed from plans dated 1994, the building has experienced significant water intrusion resulting in substantial structural and envelope damage that must be corrected under this contract. Location: Powell Ranger Station, 10411 US-12, Lolo, MT 59847 Magnitude Of Construction Project: The Government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000.
