Contractors are invited to submit an offer for Stadium Light Pole Replacement. The project consists of replacement of six wood stadium light poles at the New Berlin Jr./Sr. High School Football field. The contractor shall carefully disconnect the existing conduits and junction boxes from the poles and remove the poles. Salvage the existing crossarms and light fixtures for reinstallation. Reinstall crossarms and light fixtures on new 70 foot tall wood poles. Reinstall poles at the same location as existing. Poles shall be buried a minimum of 9 feet into the ground. Extend new conduit and wiring from junction boxes at grade to the light fixtures. Reinstall junction boxes and conduits on new light poles. Contractor shall be responsible for field verification of pole heights and conduit/wiring sizes and quantities. Perform all work as required to ensure a complete functional lighting system upon completion of work. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission and comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
