Reference Number 0000417702 Source ID PU.AG.USA.1978.C9693976 Piggyback Contract No - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Sealed bids will be accepted to provide the City of Midland with pricing for Barstow Airport JET-A Fuel Island Reconstruction, per the attached specifications and standard instructions. Technical questions shall be directed to Tyler Abbs, City of Midland Facilities Manager at (989) 837-3370. The project involves the decommissioning and removal of an existing JET-A fueling system and installation of a new JET-A fueling system. - The existing system consists of two underground storage tanks (USTs), two dispensers with filters and hose reels, and associated sumps, piping, vents, controls, and power and communication lines. - The new system consists of an aboveground storage tank (AST) with associated equipment including but not limited to fill containment box, aboveground fuel lines, alarm, pump, underground fuel line, dispenser with integrated hose reel, nozzle, valves, controls, sensors, automatic tank gauge system, and power and communication lines. - In addition, the existing system shares a point-of-sale terminal with a 100 LL fueling system. The 100 LL system and point of sale terminal are to remain and be kept in service except as required to facilitate work on this project. - The new JET-A system is to be constructed before the existing Jet A system is decommissioned except as required to facilitate work on this project. - There are restrictions dates on the length of time the fueling systems may be out of service. - All work must be complete by September 30, 2026. The new JET-A AST has been procured separately and will be delivered to the site by the manufacturer. As such, purchase and delivery of the new JET-A AST is excluded from this project. Items included in this project include but are not limited to: - Construction of the new AST foundation, offloading of the tank, placement on the foundation, erection of tank manufacturer supplied catwalk, railing ladder and associated equipment. - Purchase, installation and commissioning of all other equipment (besides the AST itself) for the new Jet A fueling system. - Connection of the new JET-A fueling system to the existing point of sale terminal and existing emergency stop. - Decommissioning and removing the old JET-A system and USTs. - Paving and site restoration.
