The Project involves the construction of 2,450 square feet of 4-inch concrete sidewalk (historic sidewalk jointing), 1,800 square feet of 6-inch concrete sidewalk, 1,900 square feet of 6-inch exposed aggregate sidewalk, and 2,075 square feet of paver driving surface. The work also includes 1,000 square feet of concrete sitting wall with stacked rock facing and capstone. New site improvements include ornamental light poles and utility trenching for electrical and irrigation conduit, along with all other work necessary to complete the project as shown on the drawings and specified. An additive alternative, dependent on bids received and available funding, involves demolition of the site including 325 square yards of concrete walks, 240 linear feet of concrete curbs, and 600 square yards of asphalt drive. The contract is subject to Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. The project is funded by the City of Baker City and has an expected duration of 90 days.
