The location of the project is Knox Road, Fairfield, PA, beginning at the intersection of Knox Road and Carrolls Tract Road and proceeding east on Knox Road for 4,040 feet, terminating where the gravel portion of the road meets the paved section. The work consists of delivering, placing, and compacting Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA). The scope includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment, miscellaneous items, and performing all work necessary to complete all construction to the satisfaction and approval of the Township. Materials must be procured locally. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Dirt & Gravel Grants to the Township. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid must be submitted with any bid proposal. Bids must be submitted marked SEALED PROPOSAL- ROAD PROJECT. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bid proposals or parts thereof and to award the contract as is determined to serve the best interest of the Township. Prevailing wages apply.
