Brunswick County is soliciting sealed bids for materials for replacement of water meters in Southport. The project involves replacing water meters to ensure uniformity, operational efficiency, and compatibility with the County's utility infrastructure and meter management systems. Materials needed for the meter replacement project are grouped by product types, and bidders may submit bids for one or more groups. If bidding on a group, all materials in that group must be included in the bid. Substitutions require prior written authorization. All materials must comply with the County’s specifications as referenced in the Brunswick County Engineering Design Manual for Water & Sewer Systems. Quantities provided are estimates for bidding only and there is no guarantee of minimum or maximum purchases. The County may award one or more contracts based on the lowest bid for each product group. Bidders must ensure they have all addenda and must submit detailed documentation to demonstrate they meet or exceed requirements. Bids must include a completed Bid Proposal Form, signed cover letter, company information, reference contacts, Certificate of Insurance, and documentation of meeting requirements. The County reserves the right to request additional financial information and to negotiate final specifications with the selected bidder.
