Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ross, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The Shady Lane Safe Routes to School Project (2025) includes the removal of portions of existing resin binder pedestrian pathway adjacent to Shady Lane, between Southwood Ave and Bolinas Ave, and replacing them with 2-inch AC over 4-inch Class 2 AB; dig-out and repairs of AC paving in indicated areas on Shady Lane; Type II Micro-Surfacing of the entire length of Shady Lane (from Lagunitas Rd to Bolinas Ave), including removal and replacement of pavement markings; and the addition of Bike Sharrows symbols along the entire length of Shady Lane (Lagunitas Rd to Bolinas Ave). All within the Town of Ross as indicated on the plans and these specifications. The project is estimated to cost $193,000 and must be completed within 30 working days. Plans, Special Provisions, and Bid Forms are available on the Town of Ross website, while hard copies can be purchased from the Public Works Department.
