Separate and single prime contract sealed bids are being sought for the construction of a new Greenhouse building at the Village School. Bids must be submitted to the School District at the designated location, with details about where and how to submit provided. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals will be rejected. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject any alternatives, reject any proposals, and advertise for new proposals if deemed in its best interest. Bidders may not withdraw their bids for forty-five days after the opening except as allowed by law. Each proposal must include bid security equal to ten percent of the total bid amount. Complete contract documents can be obtained digitally for a non-refundable fee or as hard copies for a refundable deposit. Pre-bid site walkthrough details are provided. If construction schedule modifications arise due to government-imposed restrictions, bidders agree to schedule changes without additional compensation, with the sole remedy being a time extension at the Owners discretion. No oral interpretations, instructions, or explanation of the bid documents will be given prior to the opening of the bids. Discrepancies, ambiguities, or doubts as to the intent of the bidding document should be communicated to the Architect in writing for interpretation.
