Renovation of a conference / convention center in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Electronic bids will be received for the construction of Memorial Union-Roof Replacement-Sections G, Z, 1 at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. The work involves replacing Memorial Union roof sections G, Z, and 1, including but not limited to demolishing the existing roof systems and replacing them with new roofing systems. Bids are to be submitted for a single General Construction Contract. All bids must be submitted electronically, including bid security as required. Successful bidders must furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract sum within ten days of receiving the Notice of Award. There is a participation goal of 10% for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
