The Town of Fort Erie is inviting tenders for the Emergency Management Facility Transfer Switch installations project. The purpose of the project is to provide a system that prepares each facility for an external generator to be brought in and power the entire facility when required. The installation of a manual transfer switch and electrical wiring into the main panel will provide the capability of utilizing off grid power source (diesel generator) in the event of a community emergency leaving the area without power for an extended period of time. The scope of the project includes; ESA permit and inspections, demolition and disposal of materials identified, supply of materials and equipment, labour and/or sub-contracted services to complete the work as specified herein.
