Renovation of an educational facility in Kahului, Hawaii. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
253 Paina Various Repairs Phase 2, UHMC The project shall in general consist of but is not limited to the University of Hawaii Maui College 2253 Pa'ina Building structural concrete repairs, HVAC work and re-roofing, as called for on the Plans and Technical Specifications. The project shall in general consist of but not limited to the demolition, removal and replacement of the existing soffits, located at the first floor roof eaves, removal and re-installation of fire sprinkler escutcheons, fire sprinkler heads and replacement of soffit light fixtures. The project will also consist of investigation of subject areas for presence of hazardous materials, replacement of rust damaged fire sprinklers. The project also includes the replacement of any heavily framing supporting the soffit, removal and replacement of the HVAC equipment, other mechanical and electrical work. Structural work consists of concrete repairs, steel corrosion repair, and providing missing welds, anchor bolts, nuts, washers, and base plate grout at the roof level connections between steel framing and concrete walls. An existing skylight opening will also be enclosed. The existing attic catwalk will be extended to support additional mechanical equipment.
