This project is a federally funded improvement initiative for Palm Beach County, focused on modernizing key facilities within the Palm Tran operations center located at Palm Tran Facility. The scope of work consists of a comprehensive interior renovation of the existing Men's and Women's restroom facilities, aimed at enhancing functionality, durability, code compliance, and overall user experience. The renovation includes full demolition of existing finishes and systems, followed by the installation of new, high-performance materials and updated layouts. In addition to the restroom remodel, the project encompasses the replacement and upgrade of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork to improve air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability throughout the affected areas. A wide range of construction trades are engaged to deliver this project, including demolition, concrete, electrical, and plumbing, as well as the installation of bath accessories and lockers. Architectural and finish scopes include stucco, epoxy flooring systems, doors, frames and hardware, louvers, acoustical ceilings, and high-quality paint systems. Life safety systems will also be addressed, including modifications to the fire alarm system to ensure full compliance with applicable codes and standards.
