The Work includes resurfacing portions of S Kansas Ave, S Vermont Ave, S Ellen St, and E Eden Pl in the City of St. Francis. Work involves full depth pulverization, full length or spot curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk, carriage walk, and driveway replacement where necessary, and adjustment of storm sewer inlets, manholes, sanitary sewer manholes, and water valves along resurfaced streets. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by Bid security payable to the Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidders maximum Bid price in the form of a certified check or electronic Bid Bond issued by a qualifying surety. If the bidder fails to execute the contract within 15 days, the bid security may be forfeited as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after opening. Minimum wages to be paid on the project shall comply with local wage rates. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
