Renovation of an educational facility in Tinley Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Education, Summit Hill School District 161, for the 2026 Gymnasium Renovations at Hilda Walker Intermediate School project. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled and all bidders are encouraged to attend. Lump sum bid proposals will be accepted and must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount. Bids should be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to the Board of Education. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the district. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Bidding documents may be obtained for a specified deposit or fee. The Project includes, but is not limited to: 1. Masonry. 2. 3. Gypsum Board Assemblies Hollow metal doors and frames 4. Wood Doors 5. Repairing Suspended acoustical ceilings 6. Glazing 7. Wood Flooring Resurfacing and Refinishing 8. Painting 9. Architectural Surfacing Films 10. Minor Plumbing 11. Minor Electrical Question Deadline 04/04/2026 Submit all questions regarding the Bidding Documents to the Architect.
