The work generally includes: milling, paving, base repairs, miscellaneous drainage improvements, striping, traffic signage, and other related improvements to South Lakeshore Drive from Sussex Lane to Ridge Road in Pemberton Township, Burlington County, New Jersey, complete in every detail as shown or specified for the prices bid in the Proposal. Bids must be made on the standard Bid form contained within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the Project title on the outside, and addressed to: Township Clerk, Pemberton Township, 500 Pemberton Browns Mills Road, Pemberton, New Jersey 08068. Each bid must be accompanied by all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and a bid guarantee in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars. The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, drawn to the order of Township of Pemberton and delivered with the sealed bid. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws referenced within the drawings, specifications and contract documents. The Township of Pemberton reserves the right to reject all bids or waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid should it be in the Township's interest to do so. Any bid containing material nonconformities or conditions, or which is materially nonresponsive, will be rejected.
