This Request for Tender is for intersection improvements at various locations in the City of Markham. The work includes but is not limited to the installation of traffic control signals, pavement markings, and illumination at the following intersections: Box Grove By-Pass (Y.R. 69) and Riverwalk Drive, and York Durham Line (Y.R. 30) and Major Mackenzie Drive East (Y.R. 25). Bids will only be accepted through the Region's Bids and Tenders website and must be electronic. Hard copy submissions are not accepted. Bidders must meet the Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification requirements as stated. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of at least 10% of the subtotal contract amount in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company. Bidders must also submit a digital Undertaking to Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company. For complete details, refer to the RFT documents.
