Proposals are requested from qualified firms to provide professional services for the operation, maintenance, and management of wastewater treatment facilities for the City of Brookhaven. Firms must submit statements detailing their qualifications, experience, and include the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of at least five references. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Clerk, clearly marked with the required information, including the firm's name, mailing address, and telephone number. Any proposal envelope not properly marked will not be considered. Proposals are to be delivered to the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 101 W. Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS 39601, during legal office hours. All proposals will be publicly opened and proposers’ names read aloud in the City Board Room. The contract is for a period from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2031, with possible extensions for up to five additional years, at the option of either party, based on mutual agreement. No proposal may be withdrawn within thirty days after the proposal opening date. Proposal information can be obtained at the Office of the Public Works Director at the same address during legal office hours.
