Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lufkin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project is for the rehabilitation of two (2) one-million-gallon ground storage tanks at Water Plant No. 1. The work includes blasting and painting of interior and exterior surfaces, replacement of vent screens, replacement of internal and external ladders with fall protection, placement of labels on all manways, and disposal of sand and paint chips. Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety. Cash currency is not acceptable as bid surety and should not be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
