Renovation of an educational facility in Camarillo, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid FB-26-12 is for campus-wide fire alarm replacement at Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts Early Education Center at El Rancho Elementary. Work must be completed as per drawings and specifications available electronically from the Owner. Sealed bids must be submitted by the stated deadline and location. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held; attendance is required. Bids must include a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish Payment and Faithful Performance Bonds, each for one hundred percent of the Contract Sum. All contractors and subcontractors must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work. The contract time is fifty calendar days, with liquidated damages for delay. Only contractors with a valid Class C-10 license in good standing will be considered, and prevailing wage rates apply. Substitution of securities or establishment of escrow in lieu of retainage is allowed. The lowest bid will be determined on the amount of the base bid. Question Deadline 04/20/2026 at 4:00 PM PT The Director of Industrial Relations of the State of California, in the manner provided by law, has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and rate for legal holidays and overtime work. The Contractor must pay for any labor therein described or classified in an amount not less than the rates specified. Copies of the required rates are on file at the Owner's business office and are available on request.
