Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in East Garafraxa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Replacement of Culvert 5, located in the Township of East Garafraxa on 10th Line approximately 0.65 km South of Dufferin County Road 5. The Work includes: Removal of existing 4.5 m span, 32 m long corrugated steel pipe arch (CSPA) Culvert; Installation of a new, 33.522 m long, 5.486 m span x 3.048 m rise precast concrete box culvert; Replacement of two CSP road crossing culverts with proposed 450 mm diameter HDPE culverts; Management of the watercourse during construction to allow Work to be completed in-the-dry; Approximately 75 m of roadworks, including excavation, granular placement, and installation of new Geo-Web slope reinforcement along northwest and southeast embankments; Salvaging, reinstating, and adjusting sections of existing guide rail; Installation of new guide rail; and Restoration of the site upon completion of the Work.
