Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the 2026 Resurfacing Project in Henry Township, Wood County, Ohio. All waste materials generated from the project must be taken to the Wood County Landfill for disposal. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with O.R.C. 153.54. Bid security furnished in Bond form must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Bidders must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wood County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. The successful bidder will be required to certify that it does not provide material assistance to any organization on the United States Department of State Terrorist Exclusion List by completing a Declaration Regarding Material Assistance/Nonassistance to a Terrorist Organization Form. The Henry Township Trustees may reject any or all of the bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. They reserve the right to waive any irregularities in the form of the bid that do not affect or destroy competitive bidding.
