Pedestrian Walkway Project This project, TAP-1501(022), is in required combination with TAP-1501(021). Bids will be combined. The proposed work includes grading and sidewalk construction along Cape Rock Drive All questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to the City of Cape Girardeau Project Manager, Sarah Young, by 12:00 Noon, prevailing local time, on 4/17/2026 The prime contractor must go through the MoDOT pre-qualification process and be in the MoDOT approved contractor listing. The prime contractor must have a fully responsive contractor questionnaire on file with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC) at least seven (7) days prior to the date and hour of the bid opening (See Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids with MoDOT concurrence, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner.
