The City of Brownsville will receive sealed bids for the rehabilitation and lead based paint mitigation of 405 N. Washington Avenue. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the words "2023 HOME GRANT - Rehabilitation" on the outside. All sealed envelopes must include a copy of your current Tennessee contractor's license and classification, as well as an insurance certificate. Bid packages, including the work write up and pictures, can be picked up at City Hall or by contacting Tom Skehan via email. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. The bid will be awarded to the lowest most responsive bidder. Female and minority businesses are encouraged to submit a bid. The City of Brownsville reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids and will not discriminate in awarding the contract.
