Sealed bids are requested for Project Nos. Q2038-H which comprise separate contracts for Construction Work, HVAC Work, and Electrical Work to renovate Room 344, Assembly Lounge, New York State Capitol, State Street (Albany County), NY. Bids must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must include the required bid security. Successful bidders must furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. All bidders must comply with State Finance Law requirements regarding restricted communications and bidder responsibility. The project is subject to Public Buildings Law 8(6) regarding NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) if the project design commenced on or after January 1, 2020. The substantial completion date is December 11, 2026. The apparent low bidder must execute and return the contract and bonds within five days of receipt. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and forfeiture of bid security.
