Renovation of a water / sewer project in Nashville, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Furnishing labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to rehabilitate an existing elevated water storage tank (500,000-Gallon) by removing and replacing the interior and exterior paint system, performing miscellaneous repairs, and installing a mixing system. Bidders are required to inspect the site of work and inform themselves of all local conditions. Bidders must submit a certified or cashier's check, or an acceptable bid bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, they will promptly enter into a contract and furnish bonds on the forms provided. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible surety company authorized in Arkansas. Bidders and subcontractors must be licensed according to Arkansas State Law, and evidence of licensure must be provided prior to signing the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) calendar days after the scheduled closing time. The City of Nashville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Owner. Qualified bids will be subject to rejection. Any proposed subcontractor must be acceptable to the Owner.
