This Request for Supplier Qualifications (RFSQ) is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation (HHSC) to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Flooring Installation and Repair Services as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). HHSC is issuing this RFSQ to identify and pre-qualify experienced flooring installation and repair services contractors capable of supporting healthcare environments on an "as needed basis" with the provision of providing all labour, equipment, tools, and materials required for the project scope. The intent of this RFSQ is to establish a roster of contractors that demonstrate the technical expertise, capacity, and compliance necessary to perform flooring work within an active clinical and non-clinical healthcare setting. Flooring systems in healthcare facilities play a critical role in patient safety, infection prevention and control, accessibility, durability, and operational continuity. As such, contractors must possess proven experience working in occupied healthcare facilities and be capable of performing work in a manner that minimizes disruption to patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to stringent safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements. HHSC intends to develop a roster of five (5) pre-qualified respondents (Vendor of Record or VOR) which will be utilized as required to meet the needs of the organization. The roster of pre-qualified respondents VOR is limited to new flooring installation and/or flooring repair services for projects estimated greater than $50,000 and not exceeding $500,000 CAD. This RFSQ is issued solely for the purpose of obtaining proposals and developing a VOR. Neither the issuance of this RFSQ nor the submission of a proposal implies any obligation by HHSC to enter into any agreement. The intent of this RFSQ is to identify those respondents capable of meeting HHSC's requirements and whom a final agreement may be negotiated.
