Amtrak is seeking to establish long term relationships by securing Pre-Negotiated Master Agreements with selected firms capable of providing Design Engineering Services for Communications and Signals (C&S) on an as-needed basis. Work will be awarded through the issuance of work releases (individual purchase order contracts). The anticipated annual expenditure is approximately $1-3M, but this is subject to change based on funding levels. Multiple Master Agreements will be issued to establish a basis for awarding future business. These Agreements will set maximum fully-burdened billable rates for a three-year period, with two one-year option periods for renewal. As projects arise, Amtrak will develop a specific project scope of services and contract for the work using a work release. All communications regarding the solicitation should be directed to the Contract Official. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
