Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a six-story above grade, 100-unit multi-residential development.
Ottawa Community Housing requires the services of a qualified Structural Engineering consulting firm to support multiple new development projects of complex multi-residential affordable supportive housing developments, typically consisting of six or more storeys and one hundred or more dwelling units per site. The selected Structural Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of standardized structural systems to promote consistency across projects and reduce overall consulting, construction, lifecycle, and property management costs, while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and performance requirements. The Structural Engineer will also support the Architect Prime Consultant to ensure structural standardization across the portfolio and that designs are fully integrated, coordinated, and consistent with the Architectural design intent.
